Miniature Spotlight: Infinity - Combined Army - Fraacta, Trihedron Drop Unit (Combined Army Starter Pack) from Corvus Belli

I recently finished painting another Infinity miniature, this time Fraacta, the Trihedron Drop Unit from the Combined Army Starter Pack:

I love the menacing look of this miniature. It was extremely fun to paint and as always, Corvus Belli did a great job with the design.

Miniature Spotlight: Metro Bus Teminus from Antenocitis Workshop

This is an awesome piece of scenery! I really like how Antenocitis Workshop integrated the acrylic parts in the design and the prints for the ads are absolutely great.

It was also easy to build and quick to paint. I use this for our urban Infinity setups and it's a really nice addition to the gaming table.

On the Worktable: Secret Weapons Tablescapes Tiles - Urban Streets, Clean and Damaged

Time to start something new. ;) A few years ago I abandoned my "City Grounds from Miniature Scenery" project because I didn't quite like the look of the whole board. I was searching for a better alternative and came across Secret Weapons Tablescapes Tiles. I purchased the 4x6 (24 Tiles) Version of the Urban Streets and damaged Urban Streets that were available at the time:

Right now I'm in the process of painting the 48 tiles. Here are two snapshots I made with my handy yesterday (hence the grainy quality) of the first WIP tiles:

More pictures will follow. I'm already way more happy with the look of the board than with the old City Grounds version. There's a lot of work to be done before this project is finished but I'm looking forward to it and I'm gonna enjoy the process. :)

Miniature Spotlight: Crypt Ghouls from Games Workshop

I wanted to test the "UHU glue blood and gore technique" and the Crypt Ghouls from Games Workshop were the perfect test subjects:

Since my undead army has a graveyard theme the bases feature the same tombstones I used for my modular City Graveyard. I painted them with both airbrush and traditional brush and used tree bark for the rocks. The tufts are the "early fall" two colored tufts from Mininatur.

Miniature Spotlight: Guard Dog from Reaper Miniatures

The dwarven ranger from my Rise of the Runelords Campaign hat leveled up to Lvl 4 and chosen an animal companion: a Brak Twan (Dwarven Tunnel Hound). I've chosen one of the oversized bulldog-like Guard Dogs from Reaper Miniatures as the Brak Twans of my campaign world:

I think they will make a great team. Can't wait to see them in action. :)
